Golf Cart Usage Rules at Our Camping Site
While we want you to relax and have fun while you're at Camelot Campground, it is also imperative that we take into consideration our other guests and property safety. This is exactly why we've set up certain rules and regulations in place.
All our guests who utilize golf carts to commute within the campgrounds are made to sign a contract that addresses personal and third-person safety.

Golf Cart Policy and Rules:
- NOBODY is allowed to drive a golf cart on the property without a VALID driver’s license. (if a person has a driving permit, a licensed driver must ALWAYS be present ON THE GOLFCART while it is in motion.) if asked to provide or show proof of license, you are obligated to do so.
- All golfcarts must have an up to date certificate of LIABILITY INSURANCE on file with the campground PRIOR to operating.
- All golfcart must have lot number (including A, B or C) on both sides of the golfcart and visible at all times.
- 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT is to be followed at ALL times (fast walk speed ONLY).
- Keep carts on the road ways or tails. Do NOT drive through fields (such as the one behind the office and the one behind the opposite bathhouse), our SEPTIC SYSTEM is underground and can NOT support that weight without causing damage!
- Golf carts are NOT for RECKLESS RIDING or OFF ROADING.
- It is the owners/operators responsibilty to follow and be aware of these rules.
- The “owner” will bear all liability and legal responsibilities for the occupants and drivers while using their golf cart.
- Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. Use caution with operating your cart.
- Once dusk, all golf carts MUST have adequate lights. FLASHLIGHTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF LIGHT. . Also, after quiet time all carts must remain on the lots due to damages and loud noise past curfew.
- Golf carts are ONLY allowed with prior permission/contract from management and proper insurance requirements on file in the office.
- ATV/UTV/4 wheelers/Side by Sides are NOT permitted for use in the campground.
- If you feel you may be impaired, do NOT drive the golfcart.
- These terms, conditions, and policies are subject to change without prior warning or notice.
- Anybody found breaking any of these rules will be subject to disciplinary results explained further.
